And although it is not necessaryto be an expert to enjoy a good wine, it is always a good idea to learn a bitmore about it. That is why today we will make a brief introduction about the types that exist:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Types of wine that exist:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Young wine.<\/strong>&nbsp;It has not matured in cask, it ferments for a period of about a month. Approximate consumption in 1 year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Semi crianza<\/strong>(oak). Its fermentation period is similar to the young one, the difference is that it has a maturation period of 4 to 6 months where it acquires aromas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Crianza.<\/strong>&nbsp;Aged for 12 months in oak barrels. A bottle maturation period of 1 year is required prior to sale.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reserve<\/strong>. Maturation of 18 months in oak barrels. A minimum bottle maturation period of 1 year is required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Grand reserve<\/strong>. Aged for 30 to 33 months in oak barrels. Which is the best match for the ham?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is not the same to pair a blue cheese with a soft one or a more cured or smoked one. Flavors and textures condition the choice of a wine. The same as the temperature can praise or overshadow the best of the wines. The perfect combination between the dish and the wine, that is the pairing, all an art that implies a certain knowledge on the subject, beyond the old rule that whites go better with fish and reds with meats.
