Firstly, it depends on whether it is a whole piece of ham or shoulder, or whether the product is sliced.
If you opt for a whole piece, a cool, dry place is perfect for keeping it, such as a pantry. But there is no problem if you do not have one, it is enough to place our ham in a place away from heat sources and windows so that it does not get direct sunlight.
If you prefer to eat the shoulder or sliced ham, the ideal is to keep it in the fridge and take it out about 15 minutes before consumption, so that it is at the perfect temperature and you can enjoy all its flavor.
