Cold melon soup with shavings of Iberian ham

This time we propose a summer classic, using Tomás López Iberian ham shavings.

Cold melon soup with shavings of Iberian ham

Ingredients:

– 1 melon

– 100/150 grams of Tomás López Iberian ham shavings.

– Salt

– Black pepper.

Elaboration:

Split the melon, remove the skin and cut it into pieces.

Then put all the melon pulp in the blender and blend it. Depending on the texture you prefer, you can pass the soup through a sieve or a chinois. Then store the soup in the fridge to keep it chilled.

When it is time to serve the melon soup, put the soup in a bowl and sprinkle the Iberian ham shavings on top.

Another option is to put the Iberian ham shavings in the microwave to give them a crunchy texture, leave them to cool and sprinkle them on top of the soup.

Enjoy it!
